Kate O'Sullivan | Writer Director

Kate has immersed herself in the craft of filmmaking for over a decade. She specializes in capturing universal stories that connect, engage and move audiences. Her background in music and photography fuels her drive to create beauty in every frame, and fierce precision in every beat, sound and silence.

Warm and spirited, Kate is a natural at connecting with people and making talent and crew feel at ease. She’s a crackerjack at directing professional and real talent, and in creating genuine ‘warm and fuzzies’.

Her enthusiasm is infectious and there is honestly nowhere in the world she would rather be than on set. She has directed TVC’s and screen content for The Commonwealth Games, GOMA, RACQ, BlueCare, Wesley Mission, Translink, UQ, ANZAC Centenary, The Department of Heritage and Protection, Brisbane Marketing and many more.

She has a cat named PickleChips, is a hard-core music nerd, a cackler … and strangely isn’t ashamed that she can play Guitar Hero’s Hotel California on expert.
